We Understand...
We Will Listen...We Can Help.

Perinatal mood disorders impact 1 in 7 women, 1 in 10 men, and are 100% treatable with the proper care.

Our Programs

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders

We offer specialized treatment and support for maternal mental health disorders. Our highly-trained team includes peer perinatal coaches who walk alongside women and their families helping to navigate the available resources community wide. Our focus is on meeting the needs of underserved and/or uninsured pregnant, postpartum and parenting families.

Spouse & Family Support

At WHI of Arizona, we treat women and families as a team. Perinatal Mood or Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) are never an isolated problem to be dealt with as an individual. We believe in a collaborative approach involving the entire family. Our treatment may include couples counseling, support groups, psychiatry, healthy family home visits, and more.

Substance Use & Parenting

Parental substance use can affect prenatal development, as well early childhood and adolescent development. The parent may have difficulty in assuming a parental role. Our professionals have experience in counseling such families and focus on building resiliency within the family while demonstrating effective coping skills for each individual.

Heartache, Hope and Healing: Infertility Therapy Group

Moving through the stages of infertility is a journey that can be one of the most emotional and stressful times in a couple’s life. This unique therapeutic closed group offers a safe, nurturing place for women to connect with other women sharing their journeys through the various stages of infertility with a primary focus on emotional healing and well-being for the entire family. There will be opportunities for partners to be part of the therapeutic process.

Maternal Mental Health Day Rally was a Great Success!

Thanks to everyone who came out to support us at the first Maternal Mental Health Day Rally on May 2nd. In addition to our fantastic moms, we had the support of several organizations including March of Dimes, Dignity Healthcare, Child Crisis, Southwest Human Development, Feeding Matters and 2020 Mom.  It was wonderful to see the families enjoying the camaraderie and stopping by the tables with resources on all aspects of parenting. The message is getting out there and we can't thank everyone enough for the ongoing support. #SupportAZMoms
